Colorado Companies to Watch

Colorado Companies to Watch

Colorado Companies to Watch, a unique awards program developed by the Edward Lowe Foundation, recognizes second-stage companies that are developing new industry throughout the state. Typically these companies possess such characteristics as being growth focused, privately-held, headquartered in Colorado, 6-99 full-time employees and feature $750,000 to $50 million in annual sales. The program allows the state of Colorado to recognize its trend setting leaders that help strengthen the state's economy.

Participating companies have the opportunity to gain increased visibility in local and state communities as well as to improve stakeholder relationships and contribute to a dynamic business environment. Citizens will have increased access to rewarding income opportunities and be able to build pride in innovative and valuable entrepreneurial companies. The State of Colorado will be able to showcase trend-setting leaders in diverse entrepreneurial fields that strengthen the state's economy. Do you know of a company that's worth watching? Nominate that company. Or, if yours is such a company, apply directly at www.companiestowatch.org/index.ctw?aff=Colorado&page=home.

Congratulations - FIBERFORGE named Colorado Company to Watch for 2011!
Fiberforge Corp. of Glenwood Springs  is a recipient of the "2011 Colorado Companies to Watch" award. This award is given for contributions to the state's economy and community. You can learn more at www.companiestowatch.org. The awards were presented in Denver on June 23rd. The program, overseen by the state Office of Economic Development and International Trade, has a judging panel established each year that is comprised of leaders in public and private sectors spanning business, government, education and associations from across the state. The 50 second-stage companies selected must be growth focused; privately held; headquartered in Colorado; have six to 99 full-time equivalent employees; and have $750,000 to $50 million in sales or a similar range of working capital.
