On September
28, 2011, the Roaring Fork Business Resource Center presented Secrets of Small
Business Funding at Colorado Mountain College in Glenwood Springs. The program
started with the talk “Colorado Economic Outlook and Lending Trends” given by Greg
Lopez, District Director for the US Small Business Administration in Denver.
Mr. Lopez
spoke to a group of small business owners about the overall assessment of the
current economic outlook for Colorado, what has changed in the lending
regulatory environment and other topics related to loans and financing.
In addition,
Steve Beckley, owner of Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park in Glenwood Springs,
spoke about his experience financing the startup and growth of his business.
The event
also had a variety of lenders on hand that shared their options for financing and
lending.
Sponsors for

Centers (SBDC), Liquid Capital of Colorado, and Wells Fargo Bank. Other
